And the winner is…OATMEAL?

Award show season is already in full effect with TV specials practically every weekend up until mid-March. I’m a sucker for red carpets and Hollywood glamour but the real star this weekend was oatmeal…? You heard that right: oatmeal!

We had the pleasure of working in conjunction with the city of Lafayette, CO on the 22nd Lafayette Oatmeal Festival that was held on January 13. The family friendly event centers on promoting a healthy lifestyle through nutrition and physical activity. One of the perks with registration was, you guessed it, an oatmeal breakfast with all the fixin’s! Other fun to be had were a 5K walk/run and an American Ninja Warrior course, a new addition this year.

Whether you like oatmeal or you hate it, the fact of the matter is people love taking selfies with inflatables…even if it’s as mundane as a giant Quaker oatmeal canister or bowl! You don’t have to take my word for it; those smiles don’t lie.
