COVID-19 Medical Response

Municipalities, hospitals and other government, private and non-profit organizations have had to initiate efforts to respond to the COVID-19 crisis.  At Boulder Blimp, part of our response efforts include developing emergency tents and rapid deployable inflatable options to assist local, state and national authorities with emergency COVID-19 testing and patient care.  Our emergency tents and inflatable shelters can be found throughout the United States.  Our next series of articles will take a closer look at some of the different types of emergency tents and inflatable shelters being used to help the medical community respond to the COVID-19 crisis.

Portable Testing Tents

Portable testing tents are designed to help the medical community implement mobile COVID 19 testing.  Rather than send potentially infected individuals to a healthcare facility where they could expose others, portable testing tents are often set up in parking lots for mobile COVID-19 testing.  Portable testing tents are sometimes accompanied with banners to denote testing areas.

Drive Through Tents

Drive through tents are used for mobile COVID-19 testing.  What makes them so attractive is that those being tested never leave their vehicles.  Drive through tents can be established just about anywhere for mobile COVID-19 testing but are commonly set up in isolated areas of parking lots.
